Arrh! Ahoy Landlubbers!

Th' 3rd CAC scurvy pirate Pub Crawl (Balmain) took place on th' rainy Saturday afternoon 'o 12th April. But as we be Canadian Pirates, what’s a wee bit ‘o rain?

Chris Warrick 'n Kim Preminger worked extra harrrd to make th' Peninsular Perambulation a jolly time, 'n by all accounts they succeeded. We shivered our timbers and buckled our swashes as we pillaged the damp streets of Balmain. There were software pirates and traditional pirates, but no Somali pirates!

We started with a crew of 11, 10 finished 'n 8 stayed fer dinner at th' last Pub.

Startin' out at th' Paragon we received our copies 'o th' Quiz carefully prepared by Chris 'n Kim then seized th' Jolly Ferry 'n commandeered it to th' Thames Street Wharf in Balmain.

From thar it was to th' Dry Dock fo’ relief from our adventures on the high seas. Then we meandered off to th' Willy Wally. After that was th' Oak whar we took a rest, had some fries 'n listened to live music while porin' over th' questions on th' Quiz.

The Hall came next 'n then we finished up at th' Riv. By the time we arrrived it was pretty crowded so it is good there weren't too many more of us or we'd 've been turned away!!

Congratulations to Oliver Brooke fer scorin' th' most points on th' Quiz 'n to first runner up Doug Wilson.
