Canadians in Australia Rugby League (CARL) has been established to recognize Australian based players with Canadian heritage. Canada Rugby League have previously identified players with Canadian eligibility living in Australia and want to extend their search for players who have a dream to represent the Canada Wolverines national rugby league team.  The Canada Wolverines are the most improved nation in the RLIF official world rankings. The Canada Wolverines have achieved amazing results since their inception in 2010 with wins against the 21st ranked Jamaica, 14th ranked Lebanon, and 12th ranked USA. The Wolverines are currently ranked 19th in the world and will continue to rise in 2013.

CARL’s goals include:
• Identify Australian based players with Canadian eligibility
• Assist Canada Rugby League with identifying elite Canadian players living in Australia
• Provide a pathway for Canadians living in Australia to represent the Canada Wolverines
• Promote Canada Rugby League and the Canada Wolverines within Australia
• Enter an Australian based Canada team in the Cabramatta International 9’s
