A deal between the national league for Australian ice hockey and FOX SPORTS - made in the 2012-2013 off-season - will see a 60-minute game of the week aired on FOX SPORTS, broadcasted (sic) to a national audience. The series will immediately follow live National Hockey League (NHL) games, beginning April 25th and run through September.

Doug will be shaking up the schedule and dropping some games to make room for others due to the compressed season. Each week prior to Hockey Night he'll be looking at the scheduled games and standings and attempt to pull the best of the bunch.

Hockey Night March 6:
4:30pm - Chicago v Detroit from Mar 3
6pm - Boston v Montreal from Mar 3 *
7:30pm - NJ v Toronto from Mar 4

*please note that the Montreal game is actually being carried live on Foxtel Monday at 11:30am. So if you are Habs or Bruins fan and plan on attending March 6 let me know, otherwise I may swap back to Nucks v Flames.

Apologies to the Nucks, Flames, Caps and Jets fans, but at this point he's taking games which actually have 2 teams in playoffs (or tied on points).

Nucks v Sharks is live on Foxtel on Wed Mar 6 at 2pm
Colorado v Chicago live on Sat Mar 9 at 1pm
