  Paddington Bowls - RESCHEDULED

  We had 23 people sign up for our Lawn Bowls event and we were so excited to give it a go. We patiently waited for 5pm to come, so others would clear the green and we could have our go. However the weather had other ideas and at 5.05pm the rain came down … and down… and down!

  We made the most of the evening and stayed around for drinks and dinner – everyone was very happy with the food and surprised at how low the prices were for what you received!

  The good news is we are rescheduling this event for Saturday, March 13^th however we have changed the timing and will now kick off at 2.00pm and finish at 5pm. We will once again have an opportunity to enjoy some dinner and drinks at the club or the Lord Dudley pub is just a short stroll away.

  Please note: for those of you who have already registered and paid for the last round and would like to come to this new date – please send me an email – do NOT re-register! For anyone who paid for the last round and cannot make this date, pls send me an email and we will organise a refund for you.

  For anyone who registered and didn’t pay – you will need to register again. Also, I will not be accepting any payments at the door (see note below) Please use the on-line registering system for this event. If you don’t want to pay using your credit card, you can also pay by direct deposit into our Club bank account.

  Note: People ask “why” they can’t just pay when they arrive – the answer is simple… at any activity where the club must rsvp & confirm numbers, we are making ourselves liable to this number – when those who haven’t paid don’t show, the club ends up wearing the costs!! Once again we had people who RSVP’d, for this event (didn’t pay) and then didn’t show. I hope you can appreciate that the club wants to ensure that every dollar raised is used for the benefit of the club members and not spent on paying for those who don’t show.
